Monkey Island in Gatun Lake within the Panama Canal, one of the areas with the greatest biodiversity of wildlife, where you will have the opportunity on our tour to explore a lush ecosystem of the Panama rainforest, surrounded by nature. You will enjoy seeing huge ships passing by heading towards the Panama Canal to cross from ocean to ocean, at the same time, listening in the distance to the sounds of screeches and howls of the monkeys, there are 4 species of monkeys: Geoffroy’s tamarin, white-faced cappuccino, howler and spider monkey, you will also be able to spot different species of birds, iguanas, toucans, crocodiles, in this beautiful natural habitat. We had a great time on our tour with Luis. We saw bats, leaf cutter ants, black ant mounds, basilisk lizard, tamarinds, capuchins, howler monkeys, Orinoco crocodile and maybe a capybara or perhaps a deer. Plus 2 huge ships traversing the canal. Way beyond our expectations. Luis was very informative and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this adventure!
